Overview
LeanUAT was built to make user acceptance testing easier to plan, execute, and communicate. Many teams rely on scattered spreadsheets and message threads during UAT, which makes ownership fuzzy and release confidence harder to measure.
Problem
UAT often breaks down when non-technical stakeholders are asked to contribute through tools that were not built for them. Teams needed a simpler way to define scenarios, record outcomes, and keep everyone aligned on what was ready for launch.
Approach
I approached LeanUAT as both a product and engineering challenge. That meant defining the core workflows, shaping the interface around real stakeholder behavior, and implementing the application stack in a way that kept the experience fast and focused.
Outcome
The result was a purpose-built platform that centered the UAT process instead of treating it as an afterthought. By narrowing the feature set to the highest-value workflows, the product stayed easier to understand and more practical for cross-functional teams.
Takeaways
This project reflects the value of a product-led development process: the strongest technical solution came from understanding the collaboration problem first, then building only what supported that workflow.
