Welcome!

I'm Matt, a passionate front-end developer with a knack for creating interactive and user-friendly web experiences.

With a background in product management and a bachelor’s degree surrounding web development, I bring a unique perspective to the world of web development. My journey into coding started with an elective course in high school. I loved it so much I took every programming class my high school offered. I then went to the local tech college to pursue my interests in programming and web development further. My first ever website was about my first car, a 2002 Mercury Cougar. Since then, I've fallen in love with bringing designs to life through code. With my experience as a product manager I have also cultivated a mindset focused on the user and their experiences using what I help produce.

I specialize in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and have experience with React and SQL. I'm constantly learning and keeping up with the latest trends in web development to ensure I deliver the best results for every project.

In my work, I value clean, accessible, and responsive design, and I always strive to write code that is efficient and maintainable. I enjoy problem-solving and love the satisfaction that comes from finding solutions to various coding challenges.

When I'm not coding, you can find me on the mountain riding my mountain bike, on the lake, or spending time with my wife and two boys.

I'm always open to new opportunities and would love to bring my skills and enthusiasm to your project. Feel free to get in touch with me with the form below, or check out my projects to get a feel for what I do.

Thanks for stopping by!
-Matt
